First opened in September of 2001 by Gordon Brown, Western Hills Music has grown into a well-known and respected music shop in the West Side community of Cincinnati. In 2017, Nate Banzhof purchased the store and is continuing Gordon’s vision while making some exciting changes! We pride ourselves on inspecting and setting up every instrument before you take it home. We carry a full line of instruments and accessories, but if we do not have quite what you are looking for, we are often able to special order exactly what you need.
Our in-house repair shop is staffed by professional musicians and techs. We are able to do quality work and give you and your instrument the individual attention and customer service you deserve.
Western Hills Music is also the home of a wonderful lessons program! Our teachers, all experienced and well-trained in their field, are able to tailor your lessons to fit your exact needs. To set up a lesson, call the store or give us a visit. We will ask you a few questions about your background in music, and what direction you would like to take. Because our teachers are so versatile, we are able to match you up with someone who will be able to help you get exactly where you want to be!
