The U.S. Green Building Council's Ohio Community (USGBC Ohio) is committed to a sustainable, prosperous future through LEED, the leading program for green buildings and communities worldwide. Our vision is that buildings and communities will regenerate and sustain the health and vitality of all life within a generation. Our mission is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
It is obvious that in Ohio we believe in better buildings. Ohio has more LEED schools than any other state or province in the world and is seventh in total number of LEED certified homes.

USGBC Ohio is composed of passionate green building professionals across every industry who are all working to support better building in the state. Our work focuses on three main areas — state and local advocacy; sustainability education programs; and community service projects, such as the Green Apple Day of Service and ADVANCE.
