OH! Wild Wonder, LLC offers experiential nature day camps and environmental programs for children in the greater Cincinnati area. The aim of Wild Wonder is to enhance the lives of area youth through a deepening connection with the natural world.
OH Wild Wonder is a social venture which began in central Missouri in 2013 and has re-opened (2017) in Cincinnati vicinity. OH Wild Wonder is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth through a deepening connection with the natural world. Our goal is to offer accessible, affordable youth-oriented nature immersion programs for area youth. OH Wild Wonder's programs include seasonal camps, monthly day camps and special events. Locations for our programming might include but are not limited to such sites as Imago Nature Center in Enright Ecovillage, Mt Airy Forest, Little Miami bike trail, Arc of Appalachia, and area organic farms and forest gardens. Founder/Leader: Ms. Vivian Melody brings her passion for nature and children into one beautiful project through OH Wild Wonder, which began as The Wild Wonder Project in central Missouri in 2013 and has re-opened in her new home in the Cincinnati area. She holds a Masters in Education and is a Waldorf Certified Grades Teacher. Ms. Melody is currently the lead teacher for the Class of 2024 at Cincinnati Waldorf School. Co-Leaders: Ms. Kate Reidel has been leading farm and nature camps for over a decade and joins OH Wild Wonder with her unique experiences and vision. She also holds a Masters in Education and Waldorf Grades Teacher Certification, and is currently the lead teacher for the Class of 2021 at Cincinnati Waldorf School.
