About

OHC is a non-profit land trust. We rely on your donations to continue protecting special places in southeast Indiana. We are a land trust: a nonprofit group that conserves natural areas. We believe that acquiring and protecting forests, farms, meadows, wetlands, and other green space is important to retaining the quality of life in southeast Indiana.

We want you to come outside and play, southeast Indiana! Right now, the very best way to get outside is our Park Hop! Have a hopping good time with this community-wide scavenger hunt!   Here’s a little video with some ideas of what you can do at Oak Heritage Conservancy nature preserves.

Get Involved, let’s work together to protect southeast Indiana’s natural heritage for generations to come. We’re a land trust that conserves forests, meadows, wetlands and other special places in southeast Indiana. We’ve protected over 900 acres since 2002. We also like to get outside and explore the natural world.

Like us on Facebook to hear about our events and other nature-based activities happening in southeastern Indiana—from hands-on paleontology to butterfly counts and beyond. We look forward to seeing you at an OHC event soon! Monthly Board Meeting First Tuesday of month, 7pm.
