About

Hours: 9 am to 1 pm each Saturday
Location: Mt Pleasant St Plaza, Washington, DC
Dates: April 6, 2019 – Dec 21, 2019

We support food access as part of the Produce Plus Program for SNAP/Food Stamps/EBT and WIC & Senior FMNP!  We also partner with the Upper Cardozo Health Clinic to provide Bonus Bucks as part of the Fruit & Vegetable Prescription program.  Thanks to DC Greens for that program!

Farmers and bakers sell fresh local fruit and vegetables, flowers, herbs, eggs, meat, dairy products, fresh bread, sweets, and other baked goods.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market is producer-only.  That means two things.  First, everything you see was raised, grown, produced, made, or baked by the persons selling it.   Second, the food is local and regional.  Our region includes the five states whose farmland and waterways serve the Washington, DC metro region.  We opened in 2003.  Click here for a Google Map showing where all the producers are in relation to you!

Mt. Pleasant’s Got Talent: Famous, soon-to-be famous, and very shy musicians are welcome to perform at the Market.  Two slots each Saturday morning, 9 -11 and 11 – 1.  Contact Manager@MtPFM.org for the latest schedule to sign up.

Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library offer great used gardening, health, and cookbooks at the Market.

Historic Mount Pleasant offers HMP shopping bags and (MtP) oval affinity stickers.

Volunteer at Market!  Sign up at our Manager’s Table to help vendors with set up and stocking, conduct surveys, meet and greet, do face painting, provide personal shopping tours!  Web gurus & social media masters wanted too.  Contact: Manager@MtPFM.org

Dogs and kids welcome.  Donate play items and sturdy books to the Farmers’ Market Play Space.

We donate produce to Loaves and Fishes, a non-profit that serves hot, nutritious weekend lunches to the hungry and homeless in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.  www.loavesandfishesdc.org
