About

Since 1999, we are a multi-generational family owned and operated business offering award-winning, Eco-landscaping design, build and maintenance services serving the Greater Cincinnati and South Dayton areas ~ The Ancestral Lands of the Hopewell, Adena, Myaamia (Miami), Shawandasse Tula (Shawanwaki/Shawnee), and Wazhazhe Maⁿzhaⁿ (Osage) peoples.  Marvin's Organic Gardens (MOG) caters to those wanting to co-create a  personal or a wildlife sanctuary that is regenerative and abundant with food, medicine and habitat plants.

Our collective work with homeowners, schools and non-profits aims to bridge Humanity with Nature through co-creating biodiverse sanctuaries that heal our connection with Land.  We respond to the innate rhythms of the Ecosystem while respectfully adopting Ancient Traditional Technologies passed down from our families and other Black, Indigenous and Peoples of Color from around the world. These include composting/soil building, bio-diverse perennial plantings/polyculture, water protection and more.

We are Plant-Passionate and well known for our artisan craft in building and restoring beautiful native, edible and medicinal gardens, outdoor play-scapes, bio-swales and rain gardens while integrating natural stone or paver patios, fire pits and walkways, LED outdoor lighting, and outdoor carpentry such as fencing and arbors. We continue to offer our favorite lines of client tested & approved organic gardening products, both bagged and bulk, that are as safe and natural as they are effective.  We also offer seasonal handcrafted foods and medicines from our Sanctuaries.

We share our prosperity by offering collaborative and financial support to schools and non-profits dedicated to raising food and medicine gardens and/or distributing organic, healthy and nutritious produce and eggs in underserved communities. Additionally we would love for you to  visit our Masterpiece Botanical Sanctuary at the Historic Loveland Castle & Museum.

We invite you into our community to co-create while experiencing our passionate expertise and artisan craft.  Let Marvin’s design, build, and maintain your outdoor living sanctuary in a way that is reciprocal, regenerative, creative and healing.
