Granville Gude Park is a 29 acre park which was dedicated to the City as part of the Laurel Lakes Development in 1984. The Lakehouse was constructed in 1986.
The Park features a lakehouse with a snackbar, two lakes, picnic pavilions, grills, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, state of the art playground, boat dock with paddle boat rentals, 1.25 miles of hiker/biker trails, open play areas and an outdoor stage.
The park hosts many community events, such as the July 4th Celebration, Movies in the Park, Eggstravaganza at Easter, etc. The picnic pavilions and lakehouse are available for rental to private groups or organizations. Due to high demand it is recommended that a permit be obtained for use of the pavilions and grills. Additional picnic tables and grills are available for individual use on a first come first served basis.

Hours of operation will be between 3:30pm - 7:00pm Daily. With the final boat rental depatures being allowed at 6:30pm.
Boat Fees $8.00 for 1/2 Hour with a $10.00 deposit. This deposit is refunded upon proper return of the paddle boat.
There are no admission fees to this park. The park is open daily and closes at dusk.
