Café Chocolat

Café Chocolat is more than just an online store.  We are a "brick-and-mortar" store located at the heart of Washington DC.  

If you're new to chocolate, let's talk a bit about the selection we feature here.   These chocolate products are made by chocolate-makers that focus on bean-to-bar.   That means they control the chocolate-making process from the sourcing of cocoa beans to roasting, winnowing, grinding, conching all the way to packaging.  Many of these chocolatiers have programs in place regarding sourcing, such as Fair Trade or Direct Trade.  

We work directly with each chocolatier which assures that we ship you the freshest product and cut out any middleman.
