Bread Furst

Bread Furst opened in May 2014 in the Van Ness/Forest Hills neighborhood. It makes and sells traditional breads and pastries, original and specialty foods. All breads are made from organic grains, and all foods offered are made fresh and are sourced as locally as possible. Although certainly we are primarily a bakery, Bread Furst is above all a neighborhood store, rooted here, with what we hope is an intimate connection with Washington.
